Together, we demonstrate business action and amplify a powerful business voice calling for governments to reverse nature loss. The community is inclusive and composed of:
- A diverse and powerful group of organizations and networks working with businesses to reverse the loss of nature;
- Forward-thinking businesses that have relevant commitments and that are acting to reduce their environmental impacts.
Our objectives
Business for Nature is amplifying a business movement for nature by:
- Convening a united business voice to influence key political decisions on nature in 2020 and beyond. The coalition is calling for a global framework that will reverse nature loss through policies that protect and restore nature and incentivize its sustainable use.
- Demonstrating business ambition and action to protect and enhance nature by aggregating, amplifying and helping scale existing business commitment platforms.
- Showcasing business solutions that are already translating commitments into action and meaningful impact, and driving business decisions.
- Communicating the business case for reversing nature loss in order to galvanize a change in our global economy to incorporate nature protection.
